Friend or Foe

I was just going to add a handful of friends and foes to my username/profile on this, but unfortunately it actually blocks emails from "foes"--that's no fun! I was thinking that it could be a goodnatured way of creating "enemies" on this board. For example, Lynch, Will, Brett would be good guys, and Peiser and Serpico would probably be baddies....and Salacious/Skeletor- I don't even know him at all, but he's evil, pure evil.

I am not so sure about Bobby...BUT how can you not like him, since makes such good nachos (yes, I am just referring to one time--but they were really, really good- with chili ,even...

Everyone else: who are your friends and foes?

I don't bother with those things.

I occasionally suspect I am foed by some of the posters here, but it's more likely that they have simply grown accustomed to skipping over my smartassed posts and so miss it when I actually post a reasonable response-- even when it is the answer to a question that they have posed.

I do agree that it would be fun to have a foe feature that wasn't just a renaming of the ignore feature so we could have board enemies and alliances. Of course, it would really only be fun if the poster population was a bit bigger and more active. The place has been pretty desolate these past months.

Ed, you make me sad. I don't want to be a foe!

Serpico, have you looked at your avatar lately? What else is that but the face of unreasoning jingoistic anger?

Looks very 'foe-like' to me.

Serp, on the non-foe side, you have the pitfully poor work relations with your draft bot, the affable sports, sports, sports icon, etc and you sometimes admit that you are from New Jersey (which is rare), ...perhaps its my jealousy for all your Nerdsonsports fan mail that makes me put you on the foe side...

All of your points are valid. That's the worst part.

a) I skipped the first part, what did you say?
b) Everybody's too busy playing scrabble on facebook.

Ooh, Will, can you make it do Scrabble here?

...

I just like acting like my customers sometimes.

"Can the computer do my job for me?"

"No."

"Can ranbows and unicorns come out of my computer?"

"No."
